I recently visited my first ever photography exhibition at Birmingham NEC. I primarily went to purchase my first DSLR. Whilst there I discovered the ‘Focus Gallery’ and came across the work of some amazing photographers such as ; Perou, Paul Wenham-Clark, Diana Goss, Matt Sills and George F Williams. I especially like portraiture and really enjoyed Matt Sills display. Looking through his work, I love his attention to detail and use of bold and bright colours. Having seen his work displayed in the gallery, naturally encouraged me to look into more of the work he has produced. The work on his website has really inspired me. I love the fact that dispite each photo being unique in its own way, each and every photo tells a story through the eyes of the model, this being the reason behind my love for portraiture.
